Sewage Treatment Plant

The Importance of Managing Sewage Treatment Plant

The scope of the sewage treatment plant has evolved throughout history with changes in socioeconomic conditions, city structures, and the environment. In today's world, sewage infrastructure that is well planned and operated supports urban sanitation and related activities. Effective sewage treatment is essential for nutrient recycling and for maintaining ecosystem integrity. It is also important for:

  • Improving the environment with the help of proper drainage and disposal of wastewater;
  • Preventing floods through the removal of rainwater;
  • Preserving receiving water quality.

With the help of our sewage treatment plant products, you can get an easy and efficient process to remove contaminants from wastewater such as household sewage and effluents. The sewage treatment plant process facilitates the achievement of water quality objectives. In addition to nutrient recycling, our advanced sewage treatment often includes associated unit processes which support the optimization of resource use. Some of these unit processes include the conversion of sludge into various beneficial by-products and the process of extracting thermal energy from sewage treatment plant and wastewater treatment plant. Also, the sewage collection system can be used as a conduit for optical fibre cables and other communications infrastructure.

MBBR System

The Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) is an advanced wastewater treatment process that has gained popularity due to its efficiency, simplicity, and flexibility.

The MBBR system uses floating plastic carriers (media) within a reactor to support the growth of biofilms, which degrade organic pollutants.

The process is intended to enhance the activated sludge process by providing greater biomass in aeration tank and thus by reducing volume of the tank.

MBR System

The Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) is an advanced wastewater treatment technology that combines biological treatment with membrane filtration providing both biological treatment and physical separation of solids. It is highly efficient in producing high-quality effluent suitable for reuse and meets stringent discharge standards.

SBR System

The Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) is a type of activated sludge process for wastewater treatment that operates in a batch mode, treating wastewater in a series of steps within a single reactor. It is particularly effective for small to medium-sized treatment plants.

Sequential Batch Reactor is true batch process where fill, aeration, settle and decant steps are carried out in sequence of batches in a single basin

Root Zone Technology

Root Zone Technology (RZT), also known as Constructed Wetland Treatment or Phytoremediation, is a natural wastewater treatment method that uses the interaction of plants, soil, and microorganisms to remove contaminants from wastewater. This eco-friendly technology mimics the natural filtration process found in wetlands.

The system relies on the natural capabilities of plant roots, soil, and associated microorganisms to absorb, filter, and degrade pollutants.
